First United Methodist Church of Warsaw is a downtown church located in the county seat of Kosciusko County. Our Church family members are young and old, married and single. A strong children's and youth ministry draws many parents with children. Adult members find meaningful activities through various Bible studies and fellowship opportunities; for men and women of all generations. Our church family is represented by a wide range of professions, in both the manufacturing and service sectors.
The church traces its heritage back to 1838 when Reverend Richard Hargrave preached the first Methodist sermon in Warsaw. In 1915, the current building, a domed brick church, was built. In 1968 Methodists voted to join with the Evangelical United Brethren Church forming the United Methodist Church. In 1979 a major renovation added office space and updated the sanctuary. Fifty-six different senior pastors and fifteen associate pastors have served First United Methodist Church.

You are invited to "Get Connected" to our Church Family and visit First United Methodist Church of Warsaw this Sunday. We will do all that we can to make you feel welcome and at home.
Two styles of worship are offered each Sunday, one at 9 am and one at 11 am, and a third combined worship service is added in the summer with our lakeside service at Beyer Park on Pike Lake, 811 E. Arthur Street, Warsaw. This "Worship by the Water" service takes place at 9am on the last Sunday of the month, May through August, and there is no 11 am service on those days.
9 am Worship
Our 9 am worship includes hymns accompanied by our beautiful pipe organ and an anthem by our Sanctuary Choir and once a month by our Ginn Handbells.
11 am Worship
Our 11 am worship music is led by our praise team, utilizes computer graphics, and video projection.
