First United Methodist Church of Warsaw is a two-campus community of faith with a hunger to know Jesus and to share Jesus through traditional and modern expressions of worship, creating a home for our community to grow and heal, and going out to love and serve. We are a traditional, downtown church located in the heart of the county seat of Kosciusko County as well as a modern, contemporary church on the North West side of Warsaw. Our church family consists of people of all ages and backgrounds, married and single, children and youth, working and retired. The only thing missing is you! Please consider coming Sunday to one of our two campuses or listen in LIVE to the unedited simulcast on WIOE of the traditional service at 9:00 a.m. or watch a LIVE Facebook Stream of the contemporary service at 11:00 a.m.

We want to welcome you and thank you for your interest in our church! We are pleased that you have found our visitors section of our website! We felt like there are a few questions that you may be asking before attending a new church and wanted one place that visitors can go and find answers to these questions. Below are a few questions that we felt where important to new visitors and would help you feel welcome!

  • Are these people like me?
  • Who is the pastor?
  • Where is the church?
  • What are the service times?
  • What are the child care arrangements?

Are these people like me?

Our Church family members are young and old, married and single. Strong children and youth ministry draw many parents with children. Senior members find meaningful activities through various Bible studies and fellowship opportunities for senior adults. Our church family is represented by a wide range of professions, in both the manufacturing and service sectors.

Who is the pastor?

Pastor Brian Smith, his wife, Rebecca and their two college aged kids Luke and Katie come to Warsaw First UMC having transferred here from the Florida Conference to be closer to family. Pastor Brian loves getting to know people, hearing about their life journey and helping the church connect to the surrounding community with the Good News of Jesus. He loves being out in nature; playing and watching sports; is a closet weatherman; and will eat just about any candy you put in front of him. He has a passion for seeing the church engage in and transform the community through the love of God.

You very well may have additional questions and we would love to hear them! Please feel free to submit your questions below:
